Heartblood Debut Single out now: “The Waves Shoulder Me Under”

Heartblood‘s debut single, “The Waves Shoulder Me Under”, is now available on all major streaming platforms. Composed by pianist and singer/songwriter Christine Roseann when she was sixteen, the haunting piano solo is a page torn from the diary of a melancholy but passionate girl.

With a title that pays tribute to Virginia Woolf, the ebb and flow of the of the piece evokes the turbulent journey of a heart that stops fighting the currents and lets go.

“The Waves Shoulder Me Under” is the first track to be released from her upcoming multigenre album “On The Edge,” which consists solely of music she wrote as a teenager. Dusting off these exiled fragments and holding them under a light, the artist faces the trauma of memory with honesty and tenderness.
